The Bravewell Collaborative

The Bravewell Collaborative is a community of leading philanthropists who work together to transform our health care system and improve the health of the American public through the advancement of integrative medicine. Bravewell Patient’s Bill of Rights describes our rights as patients to be “whole” and calls for “a truly integrative medicine that is supported by rigorous scientific research, maintains the highest standards of excellence, and offers a full and complete array of care modalities.”

Sponsored by The Bravewell Collaborative, Integrative Medicine in America: How Integrative Medicine Is Being Practiced in Clinical Centers Across the United States provides current data on the patient populations and health conditions most commonly treated with integrative strategies.

In a survey of 29 U.S. integrative medicine centers, 75 percent reported success using integrative practices to treat chronic pain and more than half reported positive results for gastrointestinal conditions, depression and anxiety, cancer and chronic stress.
